Red the company, which is best known for its high-end digital cinema cameras for filmmakers, has made a major announcement and venturing into smart phone business.

Red named its smart phone as RED HYDROGEN ONE  there are some very much interesting facts to know that it is world’s first smart phone uses ‘holographic display screen’.

RED smart phone enables support for modular attachments “for shooting higher quality motion and still images and it will also serves as remote to operate its own Red digital cinema cameras.

This smart phone will produce a bright illuminated screen in front of our eyes where we can view videos, photos and there is also no need for any cable or connectors to produce a 5.7-inch hydrogen holographic display.

Technical details

• It’s an unlocked, multi-band phone that runs Android.
• It supports 2D, 3D, 4-view holographic and virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality content.
• There’s an algorithm for converting stereo audio into 5.1 channel sound… that can play through regular headphones.
• We can use the phone as a controller and monitor for RED Scarlet, Epic, and Weapon cameras.
• There is no need for glasses to view 3D video content.

The package apart from phone is USC-C charging port, a headphone jack, an expandable MicroSD card slot and speakers that, via a proprietary H3O algorithm, can convert stereo sound into “expansive multi-dimensional audio.

Red Hydrogen One smart phone is priced around $ 1500 and will be available from 2018.
