Panasonic had its strong foothold in the digital era by introducing the world’s first Digital Single Lens Mirrorless camera DMC-G1 in 2008 and the subsequent DMC-GH1 achieved the world’s first Full HD video recording in 2009.
Panasonic Gh3 and 4 cameras got wide attention among Independent film makers. Especially GH4 gave 4k video recording option internally.

The price factor also was very much in favour of Panasonic camera. GH4 was priced within 1.25 lakhs.
These cameras had sensor size belonged to micro four thirds (super 16mm) it used Live mos sensor technology which eliminated moire and motion blur.

Now, Panasonic has announced new camera Lumix GH 5 that records 4k resolution video at 60 frames per second and most important specification is, it offers 4:2:2 10 color bit depth video performance that will enable good color variations during post work.

Earlier most of DSLR cameras offer 10 bit 4:2:2 video quality by connecting camera to external recorders.
